Who is Henry Tierney?
Henry Tierney trained as a Chartered Company Secretary in Dublin and moved to London to work in the City of London, at the time of “The Big Bang”, in a number of short term roles working at Salomon Brothers International, Merrill Lynch and GT Fund Managers.
On qualifying, Henry worked on a range of assignments as a financial analyst for both commercial and charitable organisations in London; companies included Marc Rich Commodity Traders (becoming Glencore plc), Sea Containers Inc and Sealink, Grand Metropolitan plc, The Arts Council of Great Britain, Scope and a number of others. Henry fosters a life-long curiosity into how companies work which has been greatly enhanced in the role of Executive Recruiter.
Working on client company projects and assignments, as an external recruiter also plays to Henry’s particular style and strengths. In particular, Hidden Talents is noted by our clients for Henry’s flexibility, his energetic approach and his ability to understand and match the nuances and strategic implications of assignments to Hidden Talents client’s requirements.
